Get in touch

Empty Leg Exclusive is an air charter broker built around empty leg flights: discounted one-way private jet flights on aircraft repositioning between bookings. We arrange flights on aircraft operated by third-party carriers holding an Air Operator Certificate, name the operator and aircraft on every quote, and show what the same sector would cost as a full charter so the saving is visible before you book.

What does Empty Leg Exclusive do?

We arrange private jet flights, mainly empty legs, on aircraft operated by licensed third-party carriers.

Most brokers treat empty legs as an afterthought. We built the business around them, because we think they are the best value in private aviation and the least well explained. We do not own or operate aircraft and we never will; our job is to know which operators are repositioning which aircraft, where and when, and to match those flights with people who want to fly the same way. When no empty leg fits, we quote a standard charter so you can decide with both numbers in front of you.

How do we check operators?

Every flight we sell is operated by a carrier holding a valid Air Operator Certificate from its national aviation authority.

Before we list an aircraft we confirm the operator, the registration and the insurance. If we cannot verify it, we do not sell it. The safety and operator vetting page sets out each check and the who operates your flight page explains what you will see on the quote and the charter agreement.

What will we always tell you?

Who the operator is, what the price includes, how much the flight can move and what the same sector would cost as a charter.

  • Who the operator is and which aircraft you will fly on.
  • What the price includes, and what it does not.
  • How much the flight can move, and what happens to your money if it does.
  • What the same sector would cost as a full charter, so you can see the saving for yourself.

Where do we arrange flights?

The UK, Europe, the Middle East and North America.

Our busiest corridors are London to the Riviera, the Alps and the Balearics, the Gulf to London, and the US east coast. If your trip is somewhere else, ask; operators reposition everywhere. Flights are not arranged to or from jurisdictions under comprehensive sanctions; see the sanctions and compliance page.

Questions about us

Is Empty Leg Exclusive an airline or an operator?

No. Empty Leg Exclusive is an air charter broker, not an aircraft operator or direct air carrier. Empty Leg Exclusive arranges flights on behalf of its clients with independently certified operators, such as FAA Part 135 certificate holders and UK or EU Air Operator Certificate holders, who keep full operational control of every flight. The operating carrier is named on every quote.

How do you check operators?

Before we list an aircraft we confirm the operator holds a valid Air Operator Certificate from its national aviation authority (the UK CAA, an EASA member state authority or the FAA under Part 135), check the aircraft registration and confirm insurance. If we cannot verify it, we do not sell it.

Where do you arrange flights?

The UK, Europe, the Middle East and North America. Our busiest corridors are London to the Riviera, the Alps and the Balearics, the Gulf to London, and the US east coast; operators reposition everywhere, so ask about any route.

How do you make money?

A booking fee included in the price shown to you. There is no membership fee and no charge for enquiries or alerts.

Are empty leg flights safe?

Yes. They are flown by the same licensed operators, crews and aircraft as full-price charters, under the same regulations: FAA Part 135 in the United States and an Air Operator Certificate in the UK and EU. The discount reflects scheduling, not standards.
